THE BASEMENT
The BASEMENT is centered around a characterful ’90s DDA console, designed to work as smooth and uninterrupted as possible. Along with a great selection of microphones, outboard gear, instruments, and effects, every tool is chosen to help chase a sound that feels exciting and emotionally real. Apart from some gear that is broken in just the right way, everything is well maintained to be immediately ready so sessions stay focused on creativity rather than technical hurdles.
The control room is comfortable and cozy to spark the right energy and is acoustically treated for proper studio functionality. As is the live room – which is completely isolated from the rest of the building, designed to be able to capture bands playing together to preserve the energy and feel of a performance. The result is a room that’s as much about feeling comfortable and safe as it is about sonic precision: a place where real performances can happen and translate directly onto a record.
The BASEMENT is about vibe and character. It doesn’t have to be absolutely perfect, it has to sound right for the song. That could be from an interesting sound that adds a subtle extra layer to a completely unhinged and distorted drum tone that makes your head bang. Every sonic decision always serving the song and context of the record.

THE BOX
The BOX is built around precision, translation and groove. The concept of the studio is a meticulously tuned monitoring environment with high-end speakers and carefully optimized acoustics, it’s designed to tell the truth — not a flattering version of it. What you hear here is what the world will hear out there.
The setup blends modern hybrid workflow with carefully selected tools: premium conversion, trusted analog preamps, inspiring virtual instruments and a curated plugin arsenal. Nothing is there for decoration. Every element earns its place by serving the song. If it doesn’t add impact, depth or clarity, it doesn’t stay.
The control room is focused yet welcoming — technical enough to go deep, relaxed enough to stay creative. Sessions flow smoothly because everything is dialed in and ready. No cable chaos, no “why is this crackling?”, no vibe-killing distractions. Just a purpose built studio space where ideas can move from instinct to speakers.

During recording with Mattias (Jerry) we focused on feel and intention, not perfection. Doing raw takes and experimenting with gear and plugins, he helped shape the sound of the record. Jerry's Vision
“I believe great records come from interesting and authentic sounds. When a song feels real and alive to me, when it surprises me, moves me, even when it’s a little rough around the edges, I trust that feeling. Because if a song can move me while it’s being made, there’s a good chance it will move someone else too.
Sometimes imperfections aren’t flaws but they are where the humanity lives. And don’t get me wrong. Making correct technical decisions during the recording and mixing process are very important, but never the goal when creating a record. Know the rules so you know how to break them. The goal is to make something interesting enough that it invites people to connect with it.”
Berry's Vision
The BOX is built as a box in a box. A specially created acoustic environment inside a large warehouse designed by iDEAL ACOUSTICS. At the heart are the amazing Kii Three BXT speakers.
The BOX is well equipped to handle any type of hardware although every aspect of recording and mixing is kept ‘in the box’ meaning everything is kept inside the digital realm, from DAW to speakers, for maximum control and sonic precision.
The studio atmosphere? Relaxed. Focused. Human. No ego. No stress. No creative intimidation tactics. Because great records aren’t made by pressure. They’re made by trust, taste and a slightly unhealthy love for detail.
